Virtual Football Academy

With China aiming for the World Cup, we developed a digital platform to give them a head start: Virtual Football Academy. Football schools across China will use this app to train coaches and students. We built two mobile apps: a Coach app and a Student app, for tablet and phone.

VR/AR

Coaches – who are themselves coached by experienced internationals – can manage teams and students, monitor progress, review homework and follow training programmes. Using Augmented Reality, an Optimal Player is displayed next to the student while exercises are filmed, compared and assessed.

Students can view team information, progress, programmes and group chat, film their homework and submit it directly for feedback. The app shows progress across categories and skill levels.
